I was walking home and I saw my friend, so I threw my hand in the air and tried to wave at her, but I couldn't move my hand, that's when I saw my hand turning to stone. That's when I woke up and saw that I was still in my situation. I cried, cried, and cried again when I saw that I was still turned to stone. I kept wishing to myself that I was dreaming, but alas I wasn't dreaming in my comfy bed. I started to miss everyone once again..after 67 years..I never really thought much about anyone, until the dream now.
I just had to enter the cave and touch the orb. Why couldn't I just continued to walk barefoot until I could find a suitable location to rest. That has been a problem since I was born, curiosity. Sure my feet would be dirty and bruised, but that would beat being barefoot AND stone. Maybe next time I will heed warnings from people..IF there is a next time for me and IF I ever get out of here. And if I even do get out of here..everyone that I ever knew will be dead.
Well, by my understanding..the year is 2067. As time progresses throughout the years..I am getting a bit covered up in webs..on the bright side..I can't get bit. But, I am scared of spiders, I just find them..creepy. I am still trapped in stone, silently waiting for the slightest chance of rescue, just waiting..in the dark. At least I have myself to keep myself company.
Until one day, I heard a big explosion at the cave entrance. As soon as the dust cleared, I saw light coming from the outside and 3 people came in with heavy gear on and when to the cave with bright flashlights. I looked at them with the same saddened look when I turned to stone. They looked at my feet to my head. One of them touched my foot and was amazed on how well I was preserved. The other one looked at my like she knew me, but I couldn't tell who she was. Until she removed her helmet, that's when I knew..it was Ashley. I thought she would look old, or at least dead. But I was glad to see a familiar face.
She spoke to me in a soft voice, "Marie". Both me and her cried at the same moment. "It has been a while..I will explain everything as soon as we get back home to HQ. Now, let's take you home.

Chapter 8 - Uncooperative
It only lasted a brief moment before everything fell silent. If my heart could still beat, it would have been beating hard enough for the whole room to hear. I knew the girl was now just a statue, but surely not composed like all of us in this dark basement.
Finally, the silence broke as I heard the distant murmurs of the lady in black talking to her latest victim. Soon after, I heard footsteps growing ever louder. Then, everything was bright. I could hear her talking clearly now.
"I tried to tell you to keep focused, but no. You couldn't. Now you're stuck like this. There's no way the museum will take you now."

Chapter 3 - Turned to Stone
I was very frightened at first: I thought I might have had a stroke and couldn't move my jaw. I frantically tried to move the rest of my body but it too didn't budge. Even my eyes were dead-locked straight forward. The woman finished her inspection of me and stood before me.
"You're perfect...among the best of any of them. Here, have a look."
She walked out of my sight. Again, I strained to follow her with my eyes but to no avail. You have no idea what an odd feeling it is to not be able to move any part of your body even slightly. Whether you realize it or not, you are constantly moving in some way. Ju

Chapter 7 - Good Advice
I continued the one sided conversation with the statue across from me in the darkness, telling her all about my life: birthday parties, school, friends, family, and the events that lead me to where I was. I talked about television and my favorite foods and anything I could do to take my mind off of things. I made sure to keep my mind flowing like a river, not giving myself a single second to stop and reflect again. After a few hours, I had run out of things to talk about. As I struggled to come up with another topic, I realized it was becoming hard to keep any sort of thought straight.
I...I...wait, what was I j
